u03 Pill White Oval Fake?

I have chronic pain and have to have a steady dose of painkillers to keep myself pain-free. This one time, I was traveling and got a script for Norco 10/325, something which was not uncommon for me. The pill which I got generic version and was white and had u03 imprinted on one side. The tablet was oval. Now I am not tech-savvy, but I could not get this pill on the net and none of my friends have come across it.

Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals, Indian company, manufactures this pill. I searched the “our products” link on the company’s website, but could not find the pill. Have anyone come across this pill or even the company? Is it a real deal or a fake and should I be concerned?

The pill with u03 is pill manufactured by Aurolife Pharma LLC and has 10 mg of Hydrocodone Bitartrate and 325 mg of acetaminophen. I have been using it, and though the effects are not long-lasting, it gets into the bloodstream quickly and does its job. But, I must admit, it is nowhere near hydrocodone 325 mg offered by Watsons.

The pill is real. It is oval-shaped pill having u03 imprinted on it and has acetaminophen and hydrocodone bitartrate as its active ingredients. Aurolife Pharma LLC manufactures it. These pills are uncommon and most of my friends (some of them in pharmacy) have come across this pill. But I have taken this pill a few times. Though this pill is very weak, and the effects don’t seem to last long, but it certainly helped in controlling my pain, albeit for shorter periods.

Dear friend, this forum is not a pill identifier site. You can type “pill identifier u03” on google and get the answer. One need not be tech-savvy to check this. If you can get on this forum and ask this question, then it would be easier for you to check it out on google. Most of the company websites (esp. pharma) show only current and branded products since this is their income source and they have patents for it. But it does not mean that the product is not there. Yes, it is uncommon, and not many have seen it, but it is pretty much legal.

Sorry to sound rude, but I wish you have checked it out on google instead of depending on the forum members to spoon-feed you.

I get your point and have not taken any offense to what you said since there was some mistake on my part also. I did not ask the question properly in the first place. I am not asking for identifying this pill. I know this pill is a 325/10 (Acetaminophen and hydrocodone bitartrate). My concern was that if we look for other drugs, we will get information that would run into many pages, but nothing of this sort for this pill. So it might be legit, but there is very less information.

I searched the official sites of various other companies that produce generics, and they have information about their generics, but nothing of this sort for this pill. This has raised my suspicion on whether this pill has been discontinued.

Did you pick up this from a pharmacy? If yes, then this has not been discontinued unless of course, the pharmacy is known to stock discontinued pills (which would be even rare). Pardon me, but I am still confused as to what is an actual question. You got the pill, and you also know it is an APAP and hydrocodone combination, but worried about not finding the info on the internet. Is that your problem?

If I am assuming correctly, you are wondering if this generic would work like other generics. Well, this drug is an APAP and hydrocodone combination drug and would work like any other APAP and hydrocodone drug combination. In case the drug does not work for you, you can always check with your doctor and get another script for pain medication.

Boy, I think my skill in writing and asking questions needs a lot of improvement. I will not re-phrase this question, but would only say that I am concerned whether it is a fake. Also this generic is not very common. I was wondering if anybody else had received this pill from this company. If other have got it, then I can rest easy because it is not a fake drug.

Sorry, if I was rude. The company is a genuine company and the pills offered by them in the market is FDA-approved. Secondly, it’s a different thing if you get the pill from the street, but getting a fake from the pharmacy is second to none. If they do, then they would be in major trouble, and I do not think anybody in their sane mind would like to take such a major risk. So relax, the drug is not fake.

I do not know what else to say.
