Liquid Xanax - What is it & how to take it?

My cousin was prescribed liquid Xanax, and she has gone on a trip forgetting her stuff at my place. Frankly, I have never come across this stuff. But it is a legit stuff since I was with her when she got the script filled.

Can anybody tell me what liquid Xanax is and how to take this stuff? What I mean is whether we could take it directly or have to mix it with something. Any suggestions?

Moreover, has anyone tried it before? Is it possible to turn it into capsule or pill and take it? Most importantly, how many milliliters would be equal to tablet dosage?

Too many questions, but I am too intrigued by this stuff.

I have my doubts, and I can guarantee that it's not Xanax. As far as I know, alprazolam is insoluble in water, while being sparingly soluble in acetone and alcohol. I cannot say what it is, but it’s not Xanax.

I think it might be valium or Rivotril since both are known to exist in liquid form. While valium tastes bitter, Rivotril has got a peachy taste.

I had come across liquid Xanax when I was in Italy. I know for a fact that benzo is offered in oral solution in Italy. A typical dose would be 25 drops (0.75 mg). It is quite strong and acts quickly.

Another thing I have come across is that if you want to get out, then one has to use one drop less every time. Quite neat, I think.

Thanks for that info. But wanted to know the exact meaning of "25 drops?" Does it imply that if one uses a pipette and gets out twenty-five drops, it would be equivalent to 0.75mg, or an ordinary dropper for that matter?

Does it mean weaning off of the drug? If that is the case, then it is terrific.

Frankly, I have an aversion towards benzos in general and chances of me using or abusing them are next to zero.

I know these questions might sound stupid, but the very fact liquid Xanax is not so widely available is giving it that mystical aura.

That’s something new which I have learned. Would check it out with my doctor. I feel it would be easier to use and would be more useful. Thank you for the info.

I still have my doubts. Please do not think that I doubt you guys even for a second, but I have never come across it so having problems accepting it.

No problems. You didn't offend us. I can understand your predicament. Even I had gone through the same. Only when I could lay my hands on liquid Xanax, did I realize it was a legit prescribed drug.

Also, I guess a drop is 0.05 ml. Regardless of the type of dropper, it must be the same for all kinds of liquids, at least the internet agrees.

Well, if you are planning to get high, be safe since this drug is very rarely prescribed and there is no idea about the ingredients in it. In case of any adverse reactions, it would be too complicated to get treated.

To be on the safe side, start with a smaller dose. I think it would suffice since liquid medications are known to act faster than pills. Once a drop has been taken, the next drop can be taken after a gap of 15 minutes. You can continue to do this till you start getting the desired effect.

Yes, 25 drops from the bottle are equivalent 0.75mg.

The typical inactive ingredients in most of these solutions are alcohols. So not sure if you would the desired effect by shooting it.

Moreover, most solutions contain fillers and sweeteners which is unsafe for injection if you ask me, then shooting benzos is not the nicest thing that you could do to get high.
