Turquoise Lodge offers its residents three meals every day, served cafeteria-style.
After undergoing an initial phone interview, residents are offered a medically-monitored detox program. This lasts between two to six days. At this point, residents are assigned a counselor as well as a caseworker and start attending daily group therapy sessions.
Residents requiring dual-diagnosis support meet with a psychiatrist and a physician and receive medication management. Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is also offered for opiate withdrawal symptoms.
Upon completion of the detox programs, residents are provided a customized treatment plan which consists of the group as well as individual sessions. The program utilizes an evidence-based approach like CBT as its treatment modality. While group sessions are the mainstay of many of the programs, the center does provide weekly individual therapy sessions, as needed. All treatment approaches also use 12-step modalities.
Treatment at Turquoise starts around 8 in the morning and continues till 8 in the evening. All treatment programs range between 21 days to 30 days.
