Sundown Ranch with its rolling hills and lakes is an ideal rehab center. People might say that Sundown Ranch does not know how to manage the facility, but I think they are wrong. My grandson was admitted to a program here, and he not only was able to kick the joint but also graduate and land a good job. It was due to efforts of the counselors at Sundown Ranch.

Sundown sits on a vast property. It can entice people to join rehab hoping to address the addiction issue. Let me tell you, It is not a good place for rehab. You have staff that is abusive, awful therapists, etc. The only saving grace is the somewhat good food. The fees are high too.

My teenage daughter spent 40 miserable days at Sundown Ranch and had nothing to show about. Once while visiting her, I caught two kids smoking weed brought by friends during family visitations. It seemed there was no supervision and she relapsed even before she could complete her program. I had to fight with the staff to get her out and admit at another center, where she recuperated well and has been sober for nearly six years now.

Sundown Ranch rocks! I joined this rehab facility because I was a nature lover and felt that nature would help in overcoming my drug addiction and I was not wrong. My counselors understood my love for nature and allowed me much time to spend on the lawns and near the lakes which helped me to rejuvenate myself and address my addiction problem with renewed vigor.

Sundown Ranch is a right place for rehab. The staff is the best when it comes to caring for the residents. Don’t know about others, but I was changed after my stay at this place. The natural surroundings was an added booster shot for me, and I was changed after my treatment at Sundown. People might disagree with me, but one has to be open-minded to see the positive benefits that one can get from this place.

Good things first – The food offered at Sundown Ranch is the best that I have ever tasted at a rehab center. I can say this with conviction since I have been to a few myself. Now the hard truths – The place is overcrowded. I lost a pair of sneakers the other day and despite the best efforts, could not get it. The management is just not in a position to restrict the use of drugs and fist fights for cigarettes. I think they can do an excellent job if they reduce the number of intakes and focus on the residents present.

A resident of Sundown a few years back, I still ask myself why did I go there in the first place? Its overcrowded and residents have a whale of a time enjoying drugs. Nearly six residents shared the bedroom, I had to share the room with five girls. Fistfight and name calling are very common in the facility. I merely closed my eyes to all the things happening and somehow completed my time at the center and upon release, joined another center where I was given due attention and counselors there helped me in addressing my alcohol addiction.
