Based in Barryville, N.Y., New Hope Manor is a licensed residential treatment center that provides substance abuse treatment to females aged 13 and above. Operating from two locations, Barryville and Poughkeepsie, New hope Manor accepts any woman who requires stabilization and rehabilitation. The clientele of New Hope Manor includes pregnant women as well as women with children aged 3 and below.
While the Barryville center offers stabilization and rehabilitation, the Poughkeepsie facility offers reintegration services to its clients.
New Hope Manor’s residential facility is run from a large building located in a rural setting in Barryville. The residential unit has a mix of double-and triple-occupancy dorm-like rooms with a capacity for 53 women. Twelve children can also be accommodated in the residential unit. Clients with children share their rooms with other mothers and kids. The residential treatment program at New Hope Manor utilizes motivational, cognitive, and research-based treatment modalities. New Hope Manor also follows the 12-step recovery model. To secure admission, clients have to get in touch directly with the center. The admission process includes phone screening, medical evaluation, and psychosocial evaluation.
All programs offered by New Hope Manor vary in length. As mentioned above, the Barryville facility focuses on stabilizing and rehabilitating the clients. Clients who have mild-to-moderate withdrawal symptoms receive necessary treatment.
The treatment programs offered include group, individual and family therapy sessions, spiritual development counseling, medical case management, as well as vocational counseling.
