Treatment Program
Before starting a treating program at High Focus Center, every client has to undergo an intake and psychiatric evaluation. Based on the assessment results, the client works with the treatment team to create a customized treatment plan which may either follow a basic outpatient program or an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
Treatment program involves group, individual, and family therapy sessions. The clients attend these sessions anywhere from weekly twice to five days a week. These sessions last for three hours.
The treatment program uses a combination of evidence-based treatment practices like psychoeducation, CBT, and DBT and holistic options like expressive and experiential art therapy, pet therapy, mindfulness training, and yoga. The treatment program also involves 12-step principles.
The adult program offered by High Focus Center runs for 16 weeks and provides clients with peer support and services of outside clinicians. The adolescent program also runs on the same line but is for only 10-12 weeks. The focus of the teenage program is on early intervention and topics that resonate with adolescents.
High Focus Centers offers its clients support for co-occurring issues through additional counseling. Clients also have to undergo random drug screenings.
Staff
High Focus Center treatment team comprises MDs, PsyDs, Master’s-level counselors, LCSWs, LADCs, and LPCs.
In Addition
Besides those mentioned above, High Focus Centers also provides its clients with a family program and classes for relapse prevention on Saturdays. These serve as aftercare plans.

I felt the programs were excellent. The effectiveness increased when it was run by some highly talented clinicians, who genuinely cared for your well being. That said, it takes two hands to clap. Along with the clinicians, we also have to put in a lot of effort if we want to become sober. Clinicians cannot spoon-feed you every time. The groups are excellent, and topics very helpful. The best part is you receive feedback and support from everyone in the group, not just the clinicians. A perfect place to seek treatment for addiction and mental health issues.
Customer service at High Focus center SUCK!!!! You call up these idiots to schedule an appointment, only for them to call back right before the appointment day and say someone else has been scheduled at your time slot. If they cannot schedule an appointment properly, how in the world are they going to treat us?
A horrible place. The staff is insulting and unprofessional. They treat you like a criminal. Worse, they do not hesitate to mix track 1 and track 2 when there are fewer clients in one track. Very unprofessional.
