Rules and Regulations
Before residents start treatment at the East House, they have to undergo a telephonic interview as well as in-person assessment. Outside outpatient facilities typically provide referrals to these programs. The center does offer referrals for detox upon request.
While the length of stay in these homes varies, the average length of stay is for a year. The community residential units include house meetings, as well as community, educational, and vocational services. Besides these, many residents take part in off-site outpatient programs such as group and individual therapy.
Typically, residents go through well-established outpatient programs, but the center does provide referrals to any other programs, the staff deems necessary.
The services offered at these residential apartments include medication management, recreational and social programs, training to help live independently, work training activities, career counseling, family education, as well as case management.
