Caron acquired Caron Renaissance, previously known as the Renaissance Institute of Palm Beach, in 2003. The center offers its clients customized and clinically intensive treatment plans for substance abuse and process addictions. Clients who completed primary care at the organization’s Pennsylvania facility are encouraged to get continued care at the center’s Boca Raton, Florida facility.
Caron Renaissance was the pioneer of the famed “Florida treatment model” where the clients stay separately from the clinical facility. This sort of supervised sober living community is aimed at helping clients learn about managing relationships, be accountable, as well as gain independence. Even though Caron Renaissance has arrangements for extended care, it does accept admissions for primary care.
Caron is the owner of a multi-building apartment complex where the staff and clients live. It comes equipped with a swimming pool. Having a multi-building complex helps Caron Renaissance offer its clients various apartment-style living arrangements that will help them prepare for individual living arrangements once their treatment is completed.
Caron Renaissance offers multiple programs, and even though the treatment, as well as the length of stay, varies, 84 days is the average length of stay. Some clients might need to stay longer, based on their treatment progress.
Despite it being a co-ed facility, Caron Renaissance offers gender-segregated living accommodations and some gender-specific clinical programs. Even though Renaissance does believe and incorporate the 12-step principles, it is not a 12-step based treatment facility.
Besides offering standalone substance abuse treatment programs, Caron Renaissance does offer treatment for substance abuse and concurrent disorders like trauma, eating disorders, gambling, and sex addictions. Based upon requirements, Caron Renaissance also incorporates neurofeedback into the treatment plans. Family intensive treatment is another key treatment modality offer at Caron Renaissance.
The counselors determine the number of interactions that a client can have with the family. A weekly phone call is allowed if the family requests and is deemed clinically appropriate. Families are encouraged to participate in the treatment through various on-site programs and phone calls.
Some clients are also encouraged to enroll in the Family Restructuring Program (FRP), a one-week long treatment track. This track facilitates attachment disorder therapy, psychodynamic theory, CBT, DBT, experiential therapy, and family systems treatment.
Treatment programs at Caron Renaissance are suited for those individuals who do well with a no-nonsense discipline and structured treatment approach.
Staff at Caron Renaissance includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, addiction medicine experts and counselors who are available 24/7.
Besides spiritual development, Caron Renaissance also helps the clients with vocational and educational services, which will help them transition seamlessly into the community and continue from where they stopped, be it school or work.
Approximately $29,000 (28 days).
